I live in the Sierra Nevada foothills - happily near the trails and mountains. I have practiced art since I was little, studied it in school, and received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California. My art is inspired by the amazing outdoor spaces of California and Nevada. I have completed numerous ultramarathons, including several 50-milers, two 100km races, and two 100-mile races. Trail running and art are two ways that I enjoy the beautiful world we live in.
Thanks for checking out my art, and I hope to see you on the trails!
ABOUT MY ART
I am currently focusing on original digital works of art. I occasionally incorporate linocut prints and pencil sketches.
Giclée Printing: All of my prints are giclée prints, unless otherwise noted. Giclée is a French word meaning "that which is sprayed or squirted." This style of inkjet printing produces a higher quality product with a longer lifespan than standard inkjet printers. The ink is pigment-based, the resolution of the image is high, and the paper used must be archival. Giclée prints have a lifespan of 100 years or more if cared for properly. In addition, giclée printing saves on energy resources, water, and reduces the use of chemicals, making it a very environmentally-friendly printmaking process.
Limited Edition Prints: Because I am continually creating new designs and exploring new printing papers and techniques, most of my prints will be limited. Each print will be signed, dated, and numbered.
Custom Prints: I am not currently accepting custom orders.
Production Time: This is a side business for me. I have a full-time day job, so I focus on artwork on the weekends. Because all prints are made to order, this means it typically takes 2 weeks to get an order completed (first weekend to print and dry, second weekend to pack and ship). If you need something quicker, please email me using the form below to see if I can expedite. Thank you!!
